Aririn.net is down ><;;;; I thought it's only a temporary server trouble, but then I got an email from the maintainer that there's a fatal error or something and some data may be lost forever T_T I back up all my files, so it's not much of a problem. But re-uploading everything's kinda suck -_-; Not to mention the long down time....
I just had an interview with a staffing agency. It went alright, except that I had trouble describing my own skills coz I realized I had none -_-; And she found out that I'm not living in SF yet... so she couldn't represent me to her client companies T_T And I'm still debating whether to move to portland or to SF. Each has it's own merits and demerits. Life sucks.
I... scratched my brother's darling car... #_#;;;; I was practicing to park and got too close to a pole ~_~; Manuals are so hard to operate and my driving skill still sucks @$$ ><;;; I just hope my bro won't kill me... He loves his car more than he loves me... I think I said that before XD
Btw, happy independence day to all of you americans!!!! Maybe I'll go see the fireworks tonight.

I just got back from LA... and I'm dying... I'm so tired -_-;; Me, my cousin, his mom, and our grandparents drove to LA on saturday noon. We arrived there around 5 pm, took a rest, then went on to chinatown guided by my cousin's friend. We also went to promenade where my grandpa started complaining that he's hungry even though we just got there. It was annoying. I know it's bad to dis my own grandfather, but I hate him. Geh.. I don't even respect him aside from the fact that he's the reason my dad was born, therefore he's also the reason of my own existence. But, he's just the most annoying creature I've ever known ~_~; Not to mention gross and ill-tempered.... Well, anyway, we didn't want to make a scene, coz it seemed that he's ready to burst. So.. we went for dinner, and after dinner we went back to see the rest of the promenade. We stayed at my cousin's friend's place that night.
The next day, we went to universal studios. It was pretty fun, except that it's not as fun when we had 2 seniors with us -_-; But we went on most of the attractions. It's was pretty funny in 'the mummy returns' XD They used quite a lot of real human (dressed as mummies or whatever) to scare the living shit outta the audience. The funniest one was when one of them came out and scared my grand parents. My cousin told him not to scare them coz they're old people. His reply? "I don't care, I'm older than them!" XDDDD And then he proceeded to (attempt to) scare me XD The girl behind me was so terrified that her boyfriend had to cover her eyes with a hat and held her close XD It was interesting, but the haunted house in kouraku-en in tokyo was so much scarier *_*
The next honorable mention goes to jurassic park the ride. It was wet! Thank goodness I didn't catch a cold. I went on the ride twice, coz it was so fun XD
After we're done in universal studio, we went straight home to san francisco. We started driving on 12 am ~_~; That's why I'm so tired even though I didn't drive. I had to keep awake to make sure my cousin, the driver, to be awake. It was fine and dandy until we're nearing the city of SF. My cousin and I was so sleepy that the car started to swing left and right ^^;;; Nothing major happened though, thankfully... Oh yeah, we also almost ran out of gas in the middle on nowhere #_#;;; We were so scared that we're gonna be stranded in the middle of the mountains ^^;;;;
The adventure (?? XD) didn't end there. After we got home, we had to return the rental car to the airport. So, my cousin borrowed a car for us to go home from the airport, and his girlfriend and me drove the rental car. However, she entered the wrong lot and we got lost inside the huge garage @_@; My cousin couldn't even enter the garage coz it was for rental cars only. So we got separated. We were so desperate, until we found an employee from the rental car company who then helped us find our way. I don't ever want to go through that again ~_~;;;;;;;

Stupid stupid Cnet!! ><;; They hasn't replied to my letter yet and they've posted another job opening. It's also an HR job, but a much much lower level position
(HR assistant) T_T I applied to that one too... I hope they'll call and give me an interview for the first job (HR administrative) I applied for T_T_T But.. for some reason, I think my second letter (for the sucky job), is a lot better than the first one T_T;

Argh.. I didn't get an interview!! That entry-level management job turned out to be in Enterprise rent-a-car company. It's a good job opportunity, BUT they want somebody with permanent status or at least a valid green card to work in US ><;;; My OPT (optional practical training) is only valid for 1 year. The job requires 6 months of training, and if I did get the job, I'd only be working for 5 months. Of course they don't want me!! ><; What sucks even more is that they don't sponsor foreign workers to get H1 visa T_T; There goes my career....
Oh almighty HR manager at Cnet... please please respond to my letter..... T_T_T_T

I got a reply from an employment agency!!! ^_^ He emailed me back and told me to call him. Interview chance! Yay!! I'm gonna call him tomorrow coz when I checked my email, it's already past office hour -_-;; Oh yah, the position is entry-level manager ^o^ And I'm still hoping for that cnet HR job too...

Ugh.. I'm running out of clothes... ~_~;; I only brought 2 jeans and I can't wear one of them coz the zipper's broken... *_*; Gotta find a cheap clothes shop...
I bought cover letter for dummies!! XD This is the first time I ever bought one of those for dummies books. I do feel like a dummy now XP
I just found out that my cousin's a little homophobia... O_o;;; We were watching the news about the gay pride parade in SF and he made some remarks about how gay people spread AIDS ^^; And that homosexuality is wrong. I totally understand his views though. Now I gotta becareful when browsing the net coz I'm using his computer XD Hafta delete the history log from internet explorer after surfing.

I'm still in SF -_- My parents and my older brother are going back to indonesia tomor.. err.. today at 1 pm. I sure am glad they're leaving coz I don't think my ears can stand any more preaching ~_~;;;;;
We went to las vegas and stayed a night there. Walked too much, but still haven't seen everything. We didn't even watch any shows... too expensive, and we have our non-english speaking grandparents with us. So, it's kinda pointless to take them to a show where they can understand nothing XP My dad gambled some... and I don't know if he lost a lot money or not -_-; Me and my brothers just spent some dollars on the 5 cents slot machine XD <-cheap! We didn't win anything though XDD
We also went to stanford university. My little bro wants to go there if he can make it. Damn that place is nice O_O My univ's nothing compared to it. I sure wish I was smarter....
My cousin's roomie told me about a job opportunity at cnet. It's HR admin assistant position ^o^ I'm applying! I don't have any plan to move to SF, but if I can get the job, I'll move~ XD Prolly even pay Ryuuen and Akane a visit XD

I'm going on vacation tomorrow! So.. no internet for about a week T_T And my bro's going back to indonesia right after that.. which means.. no more driver T_T Why can't I driveeeee!?!?!? T_T_T_T My cousin in SF's gonna take the car. Oh well, my bro won't give his car to me no matter what anyway. He loves his car more than he cares about me T_T Well, anyway, just wanna let people know that I'm gonna dissapear for a while. I can prolly check my email once or twice during the vacation.
Oh yah, that also means I won't be going to that career fair -_-; My parents seem happy about that. They really don't support my choice of staying in the US... T_T I have sucky parents...
The commencement went well ^^ It was a beautiful day, but really hot *_* I thought I was gonna die in that toga ~_~ And I did miss my East Asian language major commencement T_T But the psych one's kinda fun though. A lot of fellow psycho students XD I'm glad today's over.
I went to see tomb raider today too... and I still hate lara croft -_- The movie itself.. well... to put it bluntly, not a good movie, just entertaining. The plot is linear and very easy to guess, and lara's personality just sucks. I bet in her script, the dialog (monologue?) mostly consists of 'uh' and 'ah', just like in the game XD She also acts very snobbish with her I'm-so-cool attitude. Blah. Apologies to lara fans.. but I just can't see her as a cool chara...

Tomorrow's the big day! O_O; <-nervous *prays not to trip on the stage tomorrow*. Yup, tomorrow's gonna be my graduation commencement day. First, I have to go to the Phi Beta Kappa initiation ceremony at 8 a.m. -_-; Then, the East Asian Language dept ceremony for my japanese major at 3 p.m., the same time as the psychology dept ceremony ~_~; I think I'll just go to the psych one coz that's my main major. That's gonna a helluva day! ~_~ I'm tired already XD After that, we're gonna have a big big banquet consisting of 60 people at a local chinese restaurant. They're all graduating indonesian students with their parents and families. So, yeah, it's a pretty big group.
I got my first call from an employer!!! T_T <-tears of joy. BUT, she wanted somebody to work immediately, so she asked if I'm gonna be in portland by next week. And I said I can't, coz I can move there by the end of june. I need time to adjust. So.. looks like I'm not gonna get the job T_T <-tears of dissapointment. The weird thing though, she didn't say anything about doing an interview.... and stupid me forgot to ask ><;; Oh well, just look at the bright side.. An employer called me, so that means I'm not completely worthless. Heh. Somebody actually cared to look at my cover letter and resume >P There's gonna be a carrer expo in portland on monday. I'm going there... -_- Damn.. real life sucks...

It's not the powder's color that makes your face pale in photos. It's because the particles reflect light, that's why you can look ghostly white in photos taken with flash. If you wanna hide freckles, use concealer ^^ I've never used it before though XD <-stupid

Ahh.. the joy of job hunting. I was sending some more job applications via fax when I dialed this one company's fax number to fax my resume and cover letter. I got somebody answered on the other side O_o; I thought the ad says "fax to xxx-xxx-xxxx", how come there's somebody answering?? #_#; Another company whom I tried to send my application to had their fax number disconnected O_o;; Uhh.. not my kind of company alright. I'm gonna send the last 5 by mail.. ~_~ <-really really tired of job hunting.
I had a very interesting chat with the members of AII yesterday.. err.. this morning ^^; We were working on an impromanga whose characters are mostly pretty boys. So.. being the yaoi freaks that we are, we were so tempted to slash the characters. But the creator of the impro doesn't approve it ^^; So.. we vented out temptation to the oekaki board. See image #23 and its comments ^^;;; Some parts of it is in indonesian, so it'll probably make no sense to non-speaker. But most of it is in english. So if you wanna check out the impro first, it'll prolly makes more sense ^^; I just watched 3 episodes of gravitation when we did this... XD

I was taking my dog for his last walk for the day.. It was only around the block of my apartment complex. When I passed this one block however, I heard some really suspicious noises from the 3rd floor. It was a female moaning/gasping "Oh my god!!!" O_o;;;;;; <-shocked. And there're sounds of bed squeaking too. Geez.. at least if you're going at it, close your damn window!! O_o; I'm not too young for that kind of stuff, but it's kinda embarassing ^^;
